My love of "all things real estate" began at age 16 when I went to work for my Dad at his title company during the summer before my junior year of high school. For the next 3 summers, I spent much of my time perusing old abstracts, researching documents at the courthouse, and trying to learn as much about the business as possible. I took my first real estate course in 1980, at the Broadway School of Real Estate. At that time, I chose not to pursue a career in real estate, but it was never far from my mind.
In 1998, I decided the time was right. I became licensed to sell Real Estate in October and began working as a Buyer Specialist. In 2001, I became a licensed Real Estate Broker and worked as an Executive Broker at a small firm until we merged with Keller Williams Realty in December 2007.
In June 2008, I took a break from selling & became a Transactions Manager. This position gave me a wealth of knowledge and experience in marketing listings and managing the Real Estate transaction from contract to closing. I held this position until January 2010. I also managed a foreclosure business that had developed over the previous 2 years with Bank of America. I managed the listings from the initial listing agreement until the property had sold and the transaction was closed.
In 2010 I became an independent agent with Keller Williams Realty. My diverse background over the past 16+ years has given me the knowledge, experience and expertise to provide my clients, both buyers and sellers, with a very high level of service.
